• Asbestos found in ships, construction sites

• Presentation: slowly progressive sob, o/e bi-basal fine crackles

  • Spirometry: restrictive lung disease

• CXR: pleural plaques

• Mx: pulmonary rehab, long term O2 when required

• Often able to claim government compensation
