Phaeochromocytoma is an adrenal gland tumour producing excess adrenaline
Presentation: headaches, palpitations, collapse, anxiety, weight loss, tachycardia
Ix: 24hr urinary catecholamines, CTAP +/- MRI or MIBG to localize source
Mx: phenoxybenzamine (alpha blocker) prior to surgical resection
Falsely elevated Metanephrines

Benzodiazepines
