• GORD: Gastro-intestinal reflux disease occurs when stomach acid moves into the distal oesphagus causing dyspesia

• Associations: Obesity , Hiatus Hernia

• Presentation- epigastric burning pain after spicy meals

• Management: PPI, endoscopy if concerning features

Indications for Urgent Endoscopy (two weeks)

• Chronic GI bleeding

• Unintentional weight loss

• Progressive dysphagia

• Persistent vomiting

• Iron deficiency anaemia

• Epigastric mass

• Suspicious barium meal
