• Lamberton Eaton Syndromes is a paraneoplastic syndrome caused by lung cancer production of antibodies

• Presentation: proximal muscle weakness & lung cancer signs (weight loss, cough/ haemoptysis, sob)

• Antibodies: Voltage Gated Calcium Channel antibodies

• Investigations: CXR- lesion, CT-T: lung cancer

• Management: amifampridine

60% of lamberton eaton syndrome have underlying cancer, commonly small cell Lung Cancer 

Presentation: symmetrical proximal muscle weakness, autonomic dysfunction

Investigations : biopsy, nerve conduction studies
