• Spinal stenosis: compression of the peripheral nerve roots by narrowing of the vertebral body's spinal column

• Presentation: exertional bilateral leg pain, improved by leaning forward/ sitting, worse walking downhill & prolonged standing

• Differential: peripheral arterial disease- impaired pulses

• Diagnosis: MRI spine; Management: physio
