• Presentation: severe blistering rash including ulcers in mucosal lining

• Drug causes: carbamazepine, allopurinol, co-trimoxazole

• Toxic epidermal necrolysis thought to be extreme version of SJS

• HLA B*1502

• Management: stop drug, IVF
